Instructions for registering for the new HATS year, paying your dues, and signing up for campouts

We have a new process but it’s a cinch once you get the hang of it.  The biggest difference is that there is now a form for each student (and in the case of dues, for the dad also).  So, anytime you want to sign up little Sally or little Billy for something, look for a form with their name on it.  You cannot sign up both of your students on the same campout form.

The basic process (assuming you already have an id on the HATS website) is:

1. Fill out the dues form for youself.
2. Fill out the dues form(s) for your 4^th – 9^th grade student(s),
3. If your 10^th & up grader (HATS graduate) wants to mentor:
   • Make them active again in the system (Go to the Help section for instructions)
     
   • Fill out the dues form for your HATS graduate
4. If your 10th & up grader (HATS graduate) does not want to mentor but does want to go to the banquet:
   • Make them active again in the system (Go to the HELP section for instructions)
   • Fill out the dues form for your HATS graduate but select the "non-mentoring" option.  **Note** if you select this option you will not be able to sign this student up for camping or mentoring.
5. Go to the cart and check-out (This must be done before proceeding!!)
6. After that, go back to the forms and click on the campout form for each of your students to select the campout they want to go on
   • You will not see any of the campout forms until you have done the payment and checkout for your dues.
   • If any of the weekends that you want to go on are full, sign up for another weekend if possible and then go to the waitlist form for that student and request to be put on the waitlist for the weekend you really want.  If the one you want opens up, Megan will let you know.
